The Uptown Cafe

Opportunity has a way of finding you when you’re building something right. In 2017, while Donnie Jones was managing The Crabby Oyster, David Posalski received a call from the owners of The Uptown Cafe in Warrenton, Oregon. They were ready to sell—and wondered if David knew anyone who might be interested. He did. With the success of Tsunami Sandwich Company, The Crabby Oyster, and Beach Day Coffee, David and Britnie partnered with Donnie and Shasta Jones to take the next step and bring The Uptown Cafe into the family.

Honoring The Roots, Elevating The Experience

From the beginning, the vision was clear: Keep what people love. Make it even better. David and Donnie worked together to preserve the café’s most popular menu items while reimagining the space—transforming underutilized areas into a full bar featuring Oregon Lottery machines, creating a place where great food and a lively atmosphere come together. Today, The Uptown Cafe is known for serving some of Warrenton’s best comfort food—right in the heart of Clatsop County’s commerce center.

Breakfast is where it shines: Scratch-made Corned Beef Hash, Classic biscuits and gravy, Crowd-favorite breakfast burritos. But it doesn’t stop there. The full menu carries you through the day with favorites like: Juicy burgers, including the signature Peppered Pig The indulgent Monte Cristo, served on panko-crusted French toast. Fresh, satisfying options like the Avocobbo Salad, Homemade soups and shareable starters like monster nachos, hot wings, and scratch-made potato skins. Come dinner, it’s time to settle in: Steaks, ribs, and prime rib. Paired with local microbrews, signature cocktails, and regional wines.
